Met one of their reps as I've always had an interest in the Stock Market but know SFA about it tbh...seems like a decent enough system to learn without risk first...
I suppose I'm just wondering if anyone here has made a mint or lost their shirt through these guys??
Think GSMSireland got savage bad press on AskAboutMoney.
I'd save my money and just read these posts - http://www.arandomwalk.com/category/investing101 :)

Yeah I saw the askaboutmoney thread but there was really only one guy moaning, and there is always a begrudger. Also the rep fella told me that the cost of their software and training could be written off in total against capital gains tax. TBH I was only thinking about buying into this because I havent a baldy about buy and selling based on analysis.
Am I right in saying it's a 'tipping' service?
Well they alledge to get you good rates with stockbrokers, and I believe that they are supposed to send you out tips on stocks that they think are going to do well, but that isnt why I would be thinking about signing up.
A much bigger part (imho) of what they offer is the training software, analytical tools and the ability to trade risk free with monopoly money for a few months before getting stuck in with real cash...
Anyway, dunno, I was just hoping someone on boards would have used these guys in the past so I could take advantage of their experience with the company before buying (or not as the advice might be) ;)
Fair enough, if you're looking for good rates you generally need to look outside of the Irish brokers. I use this site myself - http://www.internaxx.lu/

there are a 101 sites that allow you to trade monopoly money, yahoo, bullbearings and investopedia. There are also any number of free analytical tools on similar sites
What are they offering, and how much does it cost, the website is very light on info and costs.A definite black mark against them in my book.

Have had a look at the website.
What costs are involved, ye can't buy Irish shares...?, and how do you find it.
You can buy Irish share alright. You just have to phone them. The costs are on the site, it's way better than an Irish broker. A wider range of securities etc..
Thanks for that link Daveirl, it looks like a good site. Once I have a better understanding of things I'll investigate the charges more thoroughly.
Anyway I decided last week to buy the learnaboutshares.com package. Because its a training package I can apparently deduct 100% of the cost of it from any CGT bill I will have in the future.
I paid my first installment (300) and was sent a box with a couple of disks inside. The first had the share charting/tracking software on it and the other one had the CBT on it. Neither of the disks worked on my brand new laptop!! I emailed them and to be fair I had all the software etc by the end of that day through online transfer.
I couldnt find any info anywher on line about these guys really except one thread on askaboutmoney.com by a guy who, tbh sounded like a muppet, so I'll post up here if I have any particularly bad/good experiences with these guys.
