I'm wondering if anyone out there knows anything about Irish Nationwide demutualisation plans? They contacted me earlier this year to let me know that I qualify for a share allocation when this happens. They said it would be at the end of the year. Has anyone had any update recently about this? I haven't heard anything since May. An unexpected windfall would be nice:D

I have a mortgage with them but they did not contact to say I would get a pay out. Any way best you use askaboutthemoney.ie have much more on that.

Mortgage here, too. They did not contact me either and I also have two savings accounts and my partner too.

The last I heard back in April is that they had entered into 'vendor's due diligence'. In layman's terms, they won't do anything daft until they are sold.

There is supposedly interest from Iceland, but I am not holding my breath after the recent uncertainty.
