Last year I was hit and run I caught that person plate number. After fixing my car I started small civil suit. I went thought bunch of court dates after going to arbitration which was granted in my favor I got a notice that they reject award of arbitration(even though that they think I should get paid .its just there insurance lawyers working) and that I am going to trial conference and trial. I am not represented by the lawyer the other party is represented by their insurance lawyer should I get a lawyer for this trial? Also can I add lawyer charges to the suit since I am charging them for court charges as weal as damages to my car?

Normally you cannot. Their rejection of the arbitration may change that. You should discuss the possibility of recovering fees with the lawyer you consult.

Note that they may be much more willing to settle without going to trial if they believe you will have a lawyer at trial. They probably hope to steamroll you.
