Phone Bills and Identity Theft?
I did some financial tranactions at my local branch a week ago and turns out I left (or dropped?) my account book, bank card and phone bill at the bank that day.
When I went back to look for these items, one of the tellers said the only thing they found was the account book. They immediatly cancelled my card and checked to see if my account balance had been touched (it hadn't).
My concern is: would the missing phone bill be enough for use in identity theft? Even if I had a "watch" put on my credit rating couldn't someone (who had my phone bill with the phone number on it) change the 'callback' number that the credit agencies use to verify credit card requests on "watched" accounts?
I found it strange that only the account book would be returned.

Now, you do have to worry about someone contacting your cell phone providing and pretending to be you - but outside of that, I don't think there's enough information to commit identity theft through any other institution/business.
Maybe contact your provider and advise them?
Call your phone provider and put a password on your account. They will need this password anytime someone calls in with account enquiries.
