What are the steps involved in selling your own condo without going through a real estate agent?

So far all I can think of is:

- taking pictures and displaying them on a website.
- submitting my listing to MLS
- advertising online, newspapers...

Can anyone give me some guidelines or things I should do?
Or should I not even bother?

My place is in a trendy neighbourhood and I don't see myself having difficulty selling it at all, so why not save the cost of the 3-7% comission.

I'm going to be in the same boat soon, and am thinking about doing the same thing.

I've read about some of the For Sale By Owner websites that allow you to advertise on their site for a fee. You won't get on MLS, though I'm sure there will be a ton of realtors swooping around looking to get the commission on the sale.
