Financial Channel

Well I found out that I had a Canada savings bond which I haven't touched for a couple years. So I went on there site and I redeemed it. This was June 2nd. They said on the phone it will arrive within 3 working business days. Does it usually take this long, its been a couple weeks now.

I don't think it should take that long. My son participates in a payroll Canada Savings Bond program (so much is deducted from his paycheque each week and deposited into a CSB) - when he calls to redeem some of them, the money is in his account within a few days.

They do not send a cheque?

Ok, that's possible - my son had direct deposit set up.

But it still shouldn't take that long, imo. Probably should give them a call.
