Best place to exchange yen (cash) for CAD

I need to exchange about 100000 yen in cash to Canadian dollars. It's worth just under $1000 CAD. Should I just go to my local bank branch or is worthwhile to go elsewhere for a better rate?
look in the yellow pages for a currency exchange place. not a money mart, but one of those exchange centers most likely in the down town area that specialises in exchanging money for businessmen and tourists.

Do the currency exchange places in shopping malls give better rates than banks?

Just go to the bank. For a 1-2% difference, that works out to about $20 at best. It ain't worth wasting time and gas over the agro.
When you go to a bank to do the exchange, just make sure that it's the main head branch.

For example, the head TD Bank is located downtown on King/Bay St. The local branches will not be able to do the exchange for you.
Or try Thomas Cook locations
