Financial Channel

I just applied for an Orchard Bank MC online. I am 9 months out of Chapter 7 and this is the first time I have applied for any type of credit. I have a mortgage, car lease and one other debt (furniture, $1,100) that I reaffirmed and have paid for on-time.

After I filled out at the online app., it said I would hear back in 10-14 days. How long does it usually take before the application is denied or accepted?

Because it's my first time applying for credit, I feel they will probably deny me. :'(

if it is the secured card you will have it in about 14 days, as for the qthers it is a slow process, 2 weeks,

Did you apply for the card where it suggested at the end of a waiting period after your phone rang that you may apply for the secured card?

If your phone rang and you didn't get that message it looks good.

I just went to the orchard bank website and applied there. Did not receive any offers in the mail. I also did not receive a phone call before or after I applied.

I guess what bothers me the most is the waiting game....if it's typical that you are approved in a day or two and it's been a week, at least I'll know.
