I can't find the phone number where I can call and ask for a increase on the Blue CLI.
Just got the card today. What are the chances of them upping from 11k to 15k? I dida BT 6200.00 at the start of the application.

I called the new accounts dept. No go on the CLI as one of the requirements is that I have an existing cc account with a higher limit that than the one that Amex Blue just gave me. Since my Blue CL is the highest, I will have to wait for the review.

So if there requirement is that you have a higher CL than what they offer, how does that work?
Example... my highest is a BofA Platinum with $5800. I just got approved for a 5K Amex Blue Cash, but I want a bigger limit. When th card comes, I plan on calling them and asking for more. Will they only match the 5800, or will they go higher? Anyone know?

Mirage, Amex (blue) Raised my limits twice when they offered me the $ for $ BT CLI....Blue is my only Amex Card and the CL is by far my highest than any of my other Prime CC's.......I only called once right after I received the card 2K CL asked what I wanted and I said 5k, and they raised it.....Good luck!!!

Tony V, thanks for the advice. I did do a BT transfer that's why my CL is 11k about 4k higher than my highest cc.
Overall I'm pretty happy as I am saving about 11% in doing the BT.
Just have to wait for the Blue to mature a bit before I go for a CLI.
