Anyhoo -
I only had one lone inquiry on TU from Cap One biz card, and my TU Fico was 760 - sooooo I figured I'd take it out for a test drive.
Went for Dogman's Personal Line of Credit from US Bank (they check TU).
Asked for 25K - got 15K (they claimed over 15K they needed paystubs - was gonna tell them that Dogman got 25K without paystubs - but graciously kept me mouth shut).
The good part?
Any cash advance (from line into USBank checking acct) over 2.5K gets prime plus 1%. Under 2.5K gets prime plus 2%.
Just in case all those bt offers dry up - it's nice to have a relatively low interest cash source.

Going to try that sometime next year as I put a ton of inqs on my TU.
Did pull a US Bank Plat card with them so my relationship with them has started.

It was wise of you not to argue with the rep. Dogman's case was most likely an exception. For some reason, more emotional than logical, customer reps will do things for dogs that they won't do for people like you and me. :) :)

MAJOR CONGRATS!!! I love US Bank I have their platinum visa card and had gotten 3 auto increases from them 6 mons apart each $1k each so I am at $13k with them 8.90% apr... I was looking into their credit line product as well but I am like $2k away from being $15k so I decided not to go for it but Major Congrats to you though!!

Ok - now i understand
i didn't want to do the paystub thing - because I'm an employee in a small corporation that I co-own - so my paystub is not my only income - and I don't like the the idea of sending my tax returns to anyone who asks for it.
Dogman based on your success I added a world perks card to my existing USBank platinum instant approval for $7000.
Flush with this I headed over to Quickencard and got $14,000

Do you access your loc thru ur checking acct - or do you have seperate loc checks?
The woman who opened the checking acct and loc at the local Beverly Hills branch wasn't sure.

Found the answer-
Us Bank 800 number I called said loc checks are sent out in the mail.
Strange how in the branch - they weren't really sure.
Looks like USBank's loc is not very well known - at least in Los Angeles - as the branch clerks themselves weren't sure how it works.
