Is three major credit cards too many to carry, if one of them is used perhaps three times a year?


How many do others carry?

I don't think so... I carry seven credit cards, and one gas card

and I use them all atleast once a month...

I have two cards that I only use for BTs plus three other bank cards that are paid off every month. I also have a Sears MasterCard with zero balance that I use occasionally.

Besides that, I have 4 or 5 gas cards and a fistful of store cards. I use the store cards if I get an extra discount or something. All of these are also paid off every month that they're used.
