depende kasi yan sa kung ano ang magiging trabaho mo. paano ka naging dependent? husband mo ba?

Hi , I havent heard of any actual case like this one. If you check out the jap-immigration
website there is also no mention of case resembles this.
I would suggest u try any of this listed i guess there would be no harm with you trying
'cause i presume u legally obtained ur current visa.
1. you could try Application for Change of Status Residence
The catch here is that you might require to get another Cert. of Eligibility (for work)
other than the one you got when u applied for ur dependent visa

2. you could try Permission to Engage in an Activity Other Than That Permitted by
the Status of Residence Previously Granted
" Student Visa holders who like to take part time jobs" seems to be the most common
case/sample here but again one can try.

Lastly the best way to know what to do would be to go to the immig office , and
ask or make consultations..

Pwede siyang magpalit ng status of residence from dependent to a working type. Ito sabi ng Ministry of Foreign Affairs (http://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/13.html):Permission to change status of residence
This permission is required when a foreigner wishes to cease his or her present activity and engage in another activity covered by a status of residence different from the one originally granted. Maraming klase ang working visa, for a kindergarten teacher I think it will be "Specialist in Humanities/International Services" (人文知識・国際業務: Jimbum chishiki/kokusai gyoumu).

In order to change status, your wife will need to find an employer first. Kung "Specialist in Humanities/International Services" nga ang visa type for kindergarten teachers...please continue. If not please proceed to *** and check with the Immigration which type. :)
