'One of Them'

Just so some of you know, complaints are handled within the 12 week period set down by the FOS, FSA and standard complaints procedure. Even if you give 14 days, you have no legal right to impose your own timescales on the procedure. Cases are handled as fast as they can, and i can guarantee you, people are working their arses off to sort these out.not as quick as their automated charges though eh!
Quote:I can't give you a yes or no answer. Lets just say that.if you are a bank employee you need to pm Dave or Bankfodder as the terms and conditions state when you signed up for your accountWhy is that, out of interest?> Entry by Banks and their staff is prohibited. Banks will be allowed to enter the forum so long as they have permission from the Administrators.

[ignoring this rule is in our opinion a breach of the Computer Misuse Act 1990 - Section 1b.]

Ah well, adios. I wonder how you can be in breach of the Computer Misuse Act, i suggest you read up on the Freedom of Information act.

See you in court. Sorry i couldn't be of much help. What relevance does the Freedom of Information Act have to access to a private forum?Sadly, it seems, we'll never know!!I meant being banned from reading something on the internet, in public domain.Well, if you want to follow that line of argument, no one would be allowed to run subscription-only websites and no one would be allowed to have password-protected pages online. No, thats exactly the line i was going at. It's publicly viewable. Therefore i have committed no crime.

I don't want an argument here, i was only interested in what people thought, i'm not here to pick fights or anything, jeeze.I have moved these posts to a seperate thread as it is unfair on Gooner to hijack his thread.

Quote:oneofthem- I know where you're coming from in terms of why post to an admin and it is on the forum rules. So I ask you one question, are you hear to help people on the forum?Hmnnnnnnn
A deafening silence

One of them clearly demonstrates a level of expertise in this field,I wonder if the same level of knowledge extends to questions regarding bank penalty charges.?

Perhaps you could explain in the same detail as you talk about freedom of information, why the banks do not appear to see fit to reveal how they calculate their charges......whilst still maintaining they are fair ?

Is it not the case that a customer has a right to see the breakdown?

And if thats not the case then where is the banks arguement......put it on the table then.I know the freedom of information act because im a student in a 'related' field.

With regards to the charges, i dont know why they cant release them other than they are commercially sensitive information, which from what i can gather is a competition thing.
